David Bowie, first of all, for after dinner entertainment and to decode his song lyrics for me.
John Cusack, because I admire his offbeat style and because I'm sure he'd say some really thought provoking things.
Susan Sarandon, because she seems so wise, down to earth and maternal. She looks as if she could help out in the event of any kitchen emergencies, too.
Al Gore, because you have to have at least one heated political discussion at dinner and he seems accepting enough of his defeat in the presidential election to be a nice guy in touch with reality.
Lastly, I'd have my dead grandmother to help me cook and to answer all of the questions I have about her life.

That will be my son and his wife who are currently in London, my other son my grandson and grand daughter who are in Australia. I havent seen them since last year, and I miss them so much. I just want to cook them a simple dinner and have fun together. For some this is a common affair because their family live closeby but for me it is something I long for and will be a real treat for me as a Mom and GrandMa
