I agree with what the others said. And I think too many people go into a relationship for what's in it for themselves, rather than what's in it for the other person. You can't just have a relationship bsed on the way you feel. There has to be more.

In my opinion???? I would say it is because we (society) have no clue how to make it work anymore. We give up to easily or are way to immature to start with.
People now days are to focused on themselves and not the other person. Few people have respect for themselves or anybody else.
If we could all remember to "Do unto others as we would have them do unto us"...Think how much better things would be!! If we could learn how to connect with the ones we are with (emotionally and spiritually..not just physically) we would likely be a lot more satisfied with what we have.
..but that's just my 2 cents worth.....

Marriage/Relationships are 100% work. They fail when was gives his/her 100%, and the other partner gives their 100% in another relationship.

i think it's a combination of things and depends on the couple. but most of all, i think it's because people have the idea that if something goes wrong or isn't all that they expected, they can just break up or get a divorce, and so that's what they do. nobody seems to marry with the actual idea of being together forever, through thick and thin anymore....

Today I was listening to the radio at work and there was a survey done, most of the divorces are young people who marry too soon and do not know who they are or what they want in life. I have to agree.

i think that alot of marriages fail because it is easy to run away than to fix the problems with the marriage.

They don't stick it out through the bad times. Love is always a roller coaster, good times and bad times. You should ride out the bad times if u love someone. People are too selfish and impatient these days...
