So long as some common sense is observed, use lube and the woman learns how to relax and enjoy it, there is no damage that is going to result from anal sex.

If you don't use lube or the woman can't relax only then can there be a problem but if you take your time and you are both disease free it really shouldn't be an issue.

Please don't pay any attention to all the sexual old wives tales that are told around here as fact. Anal sex does not cause a loss of rectal control nor does it lead to rectal cancer. I suppose oral sex should result in cancer of the gums by that logic and ovarian cancer must come from vaginal sex. Come on people, think about it. Stop listening to those seriously repressed, anything other than missionary is wrong, false morality goons we've got running around here and think for yourselves.

Many women really enjoy anal sex and there is nothing wrong with them and they don't suffer damage to their body over time as a result. So long as it's something that you BOTH enjoy, forcing through physical or psychological means is always wrong, then there is nothing wrong with anal sex and I'm getting pretty tired of those who claim otherwise without having a clue as to what their talking about.

If not performed correctly it can cause damage to the anal muscles, and you can even tear the anal wall. so care and plenty of lubrication should be taken.
