I only have a few hundred dollars to invest. What kind of ROI should I expect to see, and what time frame am I looking at?

If you invest in SPY, which beats most mutual funds over time, you should be seeing 12% a year on average. If it's an ETF on a developing nation you probably can see over 20% with dividends over the long term.
