how can i use internet on my laptop by using hot spot (eg..airports) ?

i have 802.11 wlan card.

i actully mean to say that did i need any software or ant subscription or what?

your laptop will automatically detect their signal and you can connect for free unless if it is locked and you need the network or WEP keys which they( network provider at the airport or hotspot ) will provide if you pay .

if wireless is enabled it should show u that it sees the connection ... the most u should have to do is hit connect ..
