it is possible to get pregnant right after having a baby, so every 9 months (maybe more like ten, most women wait AT LEAST a week to have sex). altough, that can be very dangerous for your body and your new baby. most doctors recommend waiting 18 months to ensure your body has had time to completely recover from pregnancy and childbirth.

It really just depends on the woman's health/fertility and the man's fertility. Take Britney Spears for example, she got pregnant again four months after having her first baby. I believe if you have a C-section, they recommend waiting at least a year before getting pregnant again to let the body heal.

I think, typically, the soonest you can get pregnant again after giving birth is around 3 months, which means that if you kept getting pregnant as soon as you were able to do so, each child would be 1 year apart...

My poor step-niece got preggo with #2 about 2 weeks after having #1. She got her tubes tied after that, lol!

A mormon kid I went to school with had something like 17 brothers and sisters, lot of twins in there. I figured it up once, and his mom pretty much _stayed_ pregnant from the day she was married up to that point because I think she was preggo again when we were in 10th grade. By that point, I imagine they could just walk on out.

My doctor told my if I have my son vaginally then wait at least a year to get pregnant again, and if I have a c-section to wait at least 2 years before becoming pregnant again. I would ask your doctor because they know you best and what would be best for your body.

well every woman is different, but if you are breastfeeding then you may not ovulate for a few months after giving birth, so unless you ovulate you cannot get pregnant - so you can get pregnant as soon as you start ovulating again.this could be anytime from a couple of weeks after birth to 6mths or longer (if breastfeeding)

Oh I don't know...an hour??!! Seriously, I had two daughters 10 mo's apart many years ago. So, don't believe any of the old wives tales about; "as long as your nursing" etc that you can't get pregnant because they are so NOT TRUE!!
