if the student just passes, consider the best answer
but if he/she is getting 98%, DO NOT give marks. it shows that the student fully understands the terms of the paper, and is just trying to make it tougher to correct or to show off
NOTE: CBSE, India authorises the examiner to correct the FIRST ANSWER ATTEMPTED (even if it is wrong) and drop the second choice que altogether
