why have people of the US strayed so far away from Godleness? How can they suport someone that condones ABORTIONS, its killing anyway you look at it? How can people condone the large incrise in TAX DOLLARS for lazy people to be on welfare? How can people support a person for president that will push to ligalize the mariage of STEVE to STEVE? It's sickness!

Not really sure who you are talking about, but wow take a deep breath. The only action the President can take against or for abortion rights is to state his/her opinion and take it into consideration when appointing judges to the bench. Other than that, they don't have the power to just ignore the law and declare abortion illegal. In response to your second question it just boggles my mind that you can stack that up against the billions borrowed and spent on this war that will leave our children and grandchildren stuck with the bill, amazing. The President also has no power to declare gay marriage legal or non-legal. Again, his/her opinion is all they've got. Bush supported those who sponsored the discriminatory amendment to the Constitution not once, but twice and it failed both times, just as he knew it would. What he doesn't have, thank God, is the right to just arbitrarily order other people's lives about as he chooses - there's this little document called the Constitution. Even Bush, who regularly ignores it can't get away with just changing it because he feels like it. You may be pro-life, and you may not like gay marriage, but a President who is pro-choice and pro gay rights is also representing a large portion of the opinion and wishes of our citizens, even if their opinion doesn't happen to jive with yours. I suppose you'll just to have to learn to live with it, and keep protesting in the hope it can change things to your liking. It 's not any different than the rest of us feel who live with government edicts we resent and don't believe are right. I support pro-choice and I am pro gay marriage. But, I am not sick nor do I believe I am supporting sickness. What is sickness to you is not sickness to everyone. I happen to find self-righteousness and the penchant for anyone thinking they have the right to impose their morals on the rest of America a sickness as well. For now, we'll have to agree to disagree won't we?

*Fiscal conservative, social liberal, pro-choice. *I prefer to think of myself as an Independent, since I will vote for the candidates, for whatever office, who most closely follow my personal principles and choices, rather than being a "party-line no matter what" voter. *Some might call that a moderate, but I disagree. * I have no problem paying taxes IF THEY ARE SPENT CORRECTLY. *But I would REALLY like to see an END to the income tax and see a Flat Tax, like 20%, on the SALE/PURCHASE of EVERYTHING except food. That's a consumption tax: the more you buy, the more you pay. 10% for the Fed Gov and 10% for your State. *Gay marriage is fine with me. I don't care what consenting adults do in their bedrooms, and it makes me wonder why so many 'religious' people seem overly-interested in homosexual activity unless they... um, I'll stop there on that one.... Churches should be able to make their own decisions on who gets married under their roof and who doesn't. And if you want to call 'civil unions' marriages, too, that's fine, too. Love is love. Better that 2 committed people have their union sanctioned, right? That way, they also get the benefits, tax-wise, insurance-wise, inheritance, visitation, etc., that other married couples are entitled to. It has always bothered me that privileged groups want to disenfranchise others for merely self-serving prejudices or ill-conceived misperceptions. BTW: the 3 of us were raised by a single mother; she had lots of male and female friends, none of whom were 'father' substitutes but more like caring uncles--and lots of aunts, of course. We all turned out fine. As far as gay parents go, they probably have a good chance of having the same failures, successes and problems as other couples. Probably because other than their particular sex activity, they are still human. Just like everybody else!!! Well, that's my 2 cents.

Yeah, and your point is....what,.... do we kill all who don't convert to Christianity, and decides to continue these acts? Or do we be godlier and learn to stop judging less and praying more. Take this from a man who has been around, you're better off praying for them in solitude. The aforemention in your question have become Government induced, legal abortions, gay unions, and a system to help the poor, that has been misused and abused even by our great big corporations, by way of Corporate welfare, why not speak of all injustices, don't you as a godly person know this? For whom do you speak?

I don't personally condone any of those things. But how can a person vote for someone that thinks it's OK to go to another country and fight a war that kills lots of innocent people when we shouldn't be there in the first place. Who wants to vote for someone who cares more about making money for their own companies and personal profit than they do about helping it's people. Why would someone want to vote for a President that wants to pardon all Illegals in this country.
I don't think we should baby people who don't want to work, nor should people be allowed to stay on welfare for years. I think Abortion should be illegal. I think what a man and woman or man and man do in their own home is none of my biss. as long as it's not hurting anyone else. I don't think the Gov. should have any say in what people choose for religious beliefs there for Godliness should have no bearing on laws. I believe in God and personally think people should live their lives for him. But God himself gave Man free will in everything that they do. So who am I to not do the same. I also think that people should be humane and nice and not hurt other people. People should do what is right and there should be laws to enforce and protect rights.
Politicians on either side fall far from that!

If allowing Abortion is killing, then wasting 'millions of sperm' particles is not killing?. They also have life and they can also being human beings later. How about losing one egg every month for no reason?.

People are born with certain disorders (they may not be disorders, but natural). In what way it is a sin for STEVE to marry STEVE if they 'naturally' find interest in each?. Who are we to say what is 'natural' and what is 'unnatural'?. Everything that is created by Nature is natural.

Because anything is possible in the USA. All forms of outrageous bigotry are regularly condoned. Any semi-literate moron can get to the white house. Observe the present encumbent.
In a civilized country like Australia we are a bit more circumspect. Our leaders usually have I.Q.s in excess of the sum of the digits in their phone number.

Why should the government subsidize corporations? Farming? Why should the institution of marriage in a free nation be subsidized, with married people getting financial breaks, while the institution discriminates against people who happen to want to marry a person of their own gender?

Who are these folks? I want to know? They sound like mentally deficient as well. None of that is going to progress our country out of poverty, and war? That is a shakey platform?

Funnily enough it is Their legal right to choose for Whom They vote, rather that being told for Whom They must vote. Silly system, isn't it?
