i got onto this team my first year, second i was injured but still apart of the team, third i'm taking the "year off" and next year i wanna try out. I know we'll have a good team again, and the coach already knows me (which isnt a good thing cuze he has an opinion of me). I can shoot...and cardio i can work on, i need specific drills to help my dribbling and defence. i'm 6feet (female) and want to play shooting gaurd but because of my hight i'm a little slower on D. But heres the challenge...i live in a small town and we have no local gym to practice at, and i really have no one to work with so i need drills to do on my own. Please help! i only got like 7 months left!

hmmm, well i used to be on a team which on the championship so maybe i still remember a few drills, for dribbling i would practice each hand for about 2-3 min. each hand, dribble around the leg and same for other hand, then practice dribbline downcourt maybe throw in some crossovers, note that crossovers are the best way to get the defense off you, just like iverson does, next you would wanna work on your shooting, try doing "around the world" dont know what it is? shoot at specific places all around the court, try to make each shot out of /3, then total what you get, the higher the better, next work on free throws,
everyone knows that your bound to get fouled, work on those free throws to gain confidence in your shooting and relieve pressure/stress, take about 15-20 shots, then maybe have someone yell or distract you while your taking another 15-20 shots, i find that distraction happens alot but a good free throw shooter should be able to make it w/o even noticing that person, thats all i have for now! good luck on making the team!!

p.s. i wish i was 6 footer lol im a 5'6 but hey earl boykins style!
