Medical Residency....do you like it?

Just curious. Seems like a lot of work load-commitment. So, you are not offically a doctor, but a doctor in training right? how many years due you have to be in residency before you are approved? Do you enjoy it/get scared because certain situations arise?

3 years in my country to become eligible to become a registrar
Scared no, mystified by some presenting situations yes. But always had the back up of other senior staff or Consultants, even in early hours of ther morning.
