My upper and lower eyelashes are sooo short!! I have tried extensions and they worked for about a week and at $120 a pop I cant afford to keep going back. I have tried some false eyelashes and fillers but can't seem to get them to stick. Any ideas on thickening and legthening mascara?

Im sorry to say that there is no way to lengthen your lashes besides extentions and false lashes...BUT!!! dont loose hope. If i could tell all the women in the world about mascara...all i would say is Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara! Seriously. I swear by it. I am a mascara freak. I have tryed all of them (besides the really expensive) but that stuff is serious. I would describe it as a building mascara. what i do for every day wear is put on about 3-4 coats....that sounds like a lot but you will see what i mean. this stuff stays on forever! you dont need the waterproof cause that is like putting your eyelashes through a torture chamber. but when you want really thick lashes there is no other. and for going out at night i put on a heavy amount....but it is miracle mascara. it keeps them separated. and full like none other. it the best for the really smoky eye. "Hair, Sass, LASHES...really? what else is there?"

You should try false eyelashes again... they look AMAZING with glamour make-up. Here is how you get them to stick:

Get the eyelash glue that dries clear, make a thin line of glue on the edge of the eyelash strip, and blow on it and wait for it to get tacky. If you do not wait a few minutes they won't stick. Then apply them very close to your eyelash line, and you can readjust before the glue dried completely. It takes a long time to get the hang of it but the results look better than ANY mascara. You can also use mascara first and then false eyelashes.

There are so many excellent mascaras out there that it’s hard to choose just one! Some of them are pretty pricey, but a budget-friendly option that does everything you need from a mascara is The Body Shop Define & Lengthen Mascara, $25. It’s smudge proof and long lasting too.

Well Rimmel line as another girl mention is really good. It makes your lashes look longer, and fuller and last longer. Depending in which country you live, it is really cheap to buy (in Canada I can find it at Wal-Mart for 4$). The one I'm using right now is "extra super lash" that gives my slim half-curled lashes an extraordinary look. Also, you have L'OREAL, which is another good choice. They go more specifically about what you're searching (a specific one to make it thicker, another one to make it longer) but it's a lil' bit more expensive (around 12$ CAN). And at least, my favorite of all, LANCÔME, hypnôse (30$can).....up to your budget!

I quite like Maybelline's XXL. It makes my lashes really long and lush, and they curl up, too - I usually forego my eyelash curler when I wear Maybelline XXL, and the price is much more reasonable. I'm very happy with it!
