I'm a lesbian, but girls seem to think I'm straight and guys are constantly asking me out. Even when I tell them I'm gay, they don't believe me and think I am just trying to blow them off. They then for some reason think that I'm playing hard to get, and keep on trying. Even now that I have moved far away, it is still a constant problem...What the hell am I supposed to do?

BTW, just as a funny sidenote, my little brother is so totally straight, but he has the same problem (people think he is gay).

Ignore those guys. They just can't take a hint. I'm bi, but a lot of people mistake it as gay and see what they want to see. I suggest if you want a girlfriend, try making the first move. As for guys---- some guys will always be dense morons. Let them think what they want and keep denying them. If they can't take "no, I'm gay" for an answer, then that shows they aren't even suitable for the straight dating world!

Meh, some guys are like that, they think they can get ANY girl to bed. I've come to terms with the fact I can't, but still find believing I can once in a while lol. Maybe you're just really attractive I guess.

Oh and LuLu, shut up. I'm not asking BTW.

The problem I have with straight men is that once they know I'm gay, they start milking me for "inside info" on what makes chicks tick and how they can make their girls happier - emotionally and sexually. *shakes head*

Just be yourself. If guys think you're just blowing them off introduce them to your girlfriend or show them a picture. If you don't have a girlfriend....just ignore them. Best you can do is tell them and if they don't get it they don't get it. That's a tough one. It'll all work out eventually.

Such is life. If it's really causing problems or being really annoying maybe wear something with a rainbow on it to shut them up.

Life is what you make it - be glad you've got people falling for you left and right. So many other people never get anything of the sort.
