i just find it so boring. my favorite class is science though. i just CANNOT pay attention in math, i try , but i just cant do it. what can i do to help me pay attention? i dont have this problem in any other classes, just math. how can i try to make it more interesting?!

if your bored in class take a tape recorder...record the lesson and go over it on your own time at home. this will at least help you learn it if your so bored in the class room

Are you taking corresponding math and science classes? Remember that Isaac Newton invented the mathematical tool called the Calculus. yes, others have amended and added to it, but Newton created it to describe his ideas about gravity. math is simply a tool used to describe certain systems and/or processes. So, if you have a math teacher/professor who just throws equations on the board and says solve them, it's going to be tough--they're simply bunches of letters, numbers and symbols. If you try to think about what the equations are describing, you may find it easier to work with them. Most professors will seem to be frustrated by students who ask them to illustrate more, but I always felt it kept them on their toes. :P Besides, if they don't appreicate it, odds are there will be several other students who will.

if you would like to continue enjoying science, you are going to have to start paying attention in math. because they start to fuse together and become like one class. so just picture all math as a way of understanding science, or practicing dribbling for the big game. haha i dunno math is fun for me!
