If they're both consenting adults, why not?

Not in this day and age.
I've seen so many relationships where the two are more than 15 years apart. Of course, most I witnessed were started after the youngest was well into their early to mid 30s. But you know, someone in their late 20s and another in their early 40s is not hard to comprehend either.

no it is not inapropiate, there are many people out there that have wonderfull relationships with the biological age being 20 years apart.
for instance my aunt and uncle are 18 years apart and have been married for as long as i can remember and i am 40 they raised 4 boys a few grandchildren and have had a good marriage a great family life.

As long as they are both consenting adults, numbers are just numbers in most cases: except if one or the other is mentally impaired or there is some other exploitation situation going on.

don't think it is inappropriate at all... if you fancy someone older, go for it... it is far better to be attracted to the person, not the age... and if you are having fun, then enjoy... :D
