Do you think that bad calls made by a ref during a game should be able to be reviewed by the NFL afterwards and if they find that the ref did make a ridiculous call, the ref should be fined.

Yeah, sure the winning coaches keep quite, the NFL punishes anyone who speaks up, quite harshly. In Nazi Germany the people who WEREN'T taken away in the middle of the night by the Gestapo didn't speak up either!

Doesn't matter, the officiating is getting worse very year despite the use of replay. Today we saw a ball clearly stripped AFTER the player was down awarded to the team that stripped it. This changed the dynamic of the game at that point. I don't think God himself could have helped the Saints defeat the Bears today in Chicago, but that was an awful call and all the yaddah yaddah blah blah will never change the fact that the ball was stripped away AFTER the runner was down by contact! This is like the terrible (most probably corrupt) calls against Seattle in the SB last year. They weren't simply bad they were obviously WRONG!

The whole point is THIS. This is the time of the year when every remaining team's whole season is on the line. It is ridiculous to have to endure such terrible officiating any time but especially now! I totally agree that the offending officials should not only be FINED, and also FIRED, but their off-shore accounts should be audited! Seriously!

Bad plays are reviewed by the NFL and refs that make too many of them are "asked not to return" next year. I'm a Pats fan and there were two crap calls that went against us tonite (past interference against #80 Troy Brown that nulfied a 1st down and field position at the end of the 1st half) and the ruffing the passer against #95 Tully-Banta_Cain which was a pitiful call)

Niether of theses calls cost the Pats the game. The PATS never should have allowed themselves to get into a position to have referees calls might impact the outcome, The Pats made to many mistake tonite simple fact.

Bad calls are reviewed, but I'm not sure if the refs get fined. Even if they are, they probably made a lot more off the bribe they took to fix the game.

I do agree that the officiating seems to get even worse during the playoffs just it does in soccer during the World Cup! Personally, I'm suspicious.

(last year the Pittsburgh win meant millions in extra revenue for the NFL, just like Chicago is better for the league revenues than N.O. In soccer for the past two WCs, the really bad decisions ALWAYS seem to favor the teams that advance the FIFA agenda.......)

Im a Pats fan so my examine out the game wasnt tainted by way of a desire for the two group to win (as i think of the pats wouldve dismantled Indy in basic terms besides as theyre going to S.D.). oftentimes as quickly as I watch video games of alternative communities its layback, no shouting, no jeering on the show etc yet i grow to be unquestionably doing all of of the above for that game... the calls have been disgustingly for sure in Indys desire... from the landing stolen from SD until eventually now the a million/2 to the bypass interference call on a play the place there grow to be no actual touch between receiver and defender i grow to be feeling further and extra like this game grow to be scripted for an Indy win. Herpes Lip (dont comprehend the top refs call however the guy with had an obtrusive herps outbreak so I dubbed him Herpes Lip) did an excellent interest ignoring Norv Turner while he had issues or questions approximately calls yet controlled to be staggering there for Dungy while something grow to be up he didnt like. undesirable reffing is killing soccer for me. i prefer to observe a soccer game, if i had to observe 11 adult males get screwed for 3 hours identity lease gay porn

The referees performances are graded by their superiors afterwards and there have been cases where they never got to officiate in a playoff game again as punishment.

they do get reviewed, fined, and they don't get to work certain games because of it...do you really think they let crews with high percentages of bad calls work big games...no. the league tries to put the best crews on the big games.

i never understand some people though...those that think they should get fired prolly would fold under the presure of making calls with 225+ lb people flying all around them. how many of you really think from ground level, that you could keep up with 5 recievers in route that run 4.4s and make pass interference calls...i'd be surprised if many of you could keep up with 5.0 flat players.

yes it is there jobs to get these calls right, it is like getting a demerrit in any other job. They are reviewed, and they get some sort of demerritts for mistakes

It is funny you asked this question. All of the losing teams heading for the Super Bowls ask that very same question!!!
