he should have but because his teammates sucked he lost to players with better supporting casts if lakers didnt have kobe last year then they would have been a 15 win team

Scoring is not everything and 81 points in a game is a great deal but that just means he does not pass!! Kobe has been more of a team player this year and the Lakers are playing good ball. Gilbert Arenas is MVP as of now!!

I think he should have, but the league doesn't just look at scoring, they look at who helps there team out the most, and who's team wouldn't be the same without that player. That is why Nash won, because he helped everyone around him. The way Kobe is giving out assists this year he would have probably won MVP last year. Just hope Nash doesn't get it again this year.

I think most people thought the 81 pt game would help him but it made it worst because they forgot about all the other 60 really good games he had last year. thaey made it to the playoffs without "holy" old Shaq so yeah he should of

Scoring isn't everything. I think that even more impressive than his 81 was that in three quarters, he outscored the Dallas Mavericks BY HIMSELF 62-61
