what is the fastest way to raise my defence in runescape i have a pure mage with 70 mage but alot of poeple are telling me i need 40-50 defence so whats the quickest way to raise my defence?

and if you can answer side question chances are i will pick you as best answer

what armor should i use to raise up to 40 defence

If your a member:

Well since now there is pest control and since you have well enough high mage, I would play that, the only thing is looking for a good world.

Each time you win, you'll get void points, Exchange those points to the void knights for xp in attack, defence, strength, or items that they have there.

Or

You can train with rock crabs at rellekka.
But this is more boring, and slower. I suggest pest control because you can win a game quite quickly and earn points fast. Though everything in runescape always takes time there never really an overnight thing

Non member:

I'd do any quests that give me def xp.
Player killing
Run around and Find very stong monsters, Just watch out and don't die :(.


Armours:
I'd recommend just using the armour that your defence level can use up until you can get to rune.
