San Diego is supposed to be one of the nicest cities to live in in California.

I would say the San Francisco Bay Area, cost of living is a bit higher but you will find a job with a good pay so that does not make any difference. The Bay area has the best weather, I have lived here for the past five years and have no complains. Your Business Degree will get you a great job here.
Best of Luck with your search!!

San Diego is BRUTAL for Business majors. There are literally a ton of applicants for every position. Example: A part time Accounting position opened up at a City office and got 550 applicants. Also, the Employers here are flippant towards their employees because they know they have a zillion others that will take your place. My advice? - Try Los Angeles. There are tons of jobs there and they pay better.

My suggestion would be the Central Valley (Fresno, Modesto, Bakersfield). Housing is cheaper in Fresno, but jobs are difficult to come by unless you're a Farmer, Teacher, Lawyer, or doctor. There are plenty of insurance companies there though as well as accounting firms. It's only 3 hours from L.A. and San Fran and 2 hours from the coast. But you do have to deal with fog in the winter.

Depends on your profession. Silicon Valley is a good spot for income, but expensive for living expenses.
