in the bible it says in there that we should forgive our brethren not only in several times but in many times. problems are common in a relationship. just hold on. not all human are perfect therefore not all relationships of humans are perfect.. be realistic. it is normal to commit EXTREME mistakes sometimes..

You can forgive him, but never, ever, forget. I do believe in second chances, but no more. No third, fourth, fifth. If you really think that he's changed after counseling, then give him a second chance. But, try to hang out in a public place, or somewhere where if you need help you can get it. Talk to him, see if he's changed. If not, then let go, move on. Your life and safety are much more important than some guy. Good luck!

First it sounds like your friend needs an old priest and a young priest to deal with the demon that has possessed his soul. Second a leopard can't change it's spots. He wants to be "friends" he can be friends with the restraining order you should take out on him ....
By the way if you don't take this advice please explain to me the concept of "the more he hits me, the more he loves me".
