Birth control pills alone do not yield 100% effectivness. Some only offer a 98% protection, others a little less. You can increase your chances of NOT becoming pregnant by practing other birth control methods SIMUTANEOUSLY while taking the pill. Use condoms, sponges, spermacides, female condoms...use an ovulation test kit to make sure you don't have sex when your fertile...pull out before ejaculation, etc. The more methods you use, the better protected you are.

I ahve been on and stale of yaz for 6 years. easiest getting off to get pregnant. the only time i've got had a undertaking with yaz is when I disregarded a pill i might spot. yet i in no way went without a era. The dr did tell me if i did no longer decide for a era to purely guard taking the medicine and after i'm to stop them get a sparkling % and shop taking them. Making me pass over a era. although i under no circumstances did that.. i might inspect with a dr. Gl

No I know a lady who got pregnant not once but twice while on Birth Control and never forgot to take the pills. Unfortunately both her children have problems, one is leagally bline the other is both legally blind and deaf but it could have been worse. Basically the only birth control that is 100% effective is abstanance

The only thing that is 100% is not having sex. If oral contraceptives are taken correctly they can be 99.9%. Condoms are about 60% if used correctly, with spermicide the % goes up. Talk to a doctor about what is best for you and use as directed.

Abstinence is the only full proof way to not get pregnant. No birth control pills are not 100% full proof.

No they do not. I think it's like 98% effective. I have known quite a few people that got pregnant and swore they were taking the pill.

But, with the pill you have to take it everyday. some of these people might have skipped pills here and there and then swore they got pregnant taking them faithfully.

BCPs are 98% to 99% effective for women who take the pills every day as directed.
Pill-taking mistakes decrease effectiveness.

No.
98% has been clinically proven.
Just as good if not better than any other form of b.c.
