It would be for the better of America, and the world, if capitalism went the way of the dodo.
Rich yuppies drive past homeless people and minimum wage workers in their Land Rovers, on the way to their $500,000 homes. Society in America more closely resembles Europe in the Dark Ages, and the gap is only getting wider.
Imagine a world where everyone was equal, and no one was left to want. You had everything you needed, and wanted no more. Socialism is the way to Utopia, and it should be followed.

Libertarianism is a scourge. They are oblivious to the fact that our government was instituted to secure its citizens' god-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. A true Libertarian wants to be able to dictate his/her version of "personal responsiblity"; they are tyrants. But, a Libertarian should be in charge of George W. Bush.

We have been mixing them since Ben Franklin organized the first municipal fire department.
Social enterprises are as American and necessary as our limits on free markets (such as anti-trust laws).

In same cases, we already are. The G8 is proof it is very feasible. The Democrats can get that going.
