Hello there, uneducated English person here ! Well, where do I begin ? OK, so football seems to be the national sport in the UK, in a recent survey, the British public voted David Beckham as a " national hero " , which stunned me beyond belief, especially when you look back at English history, so many REAL heroes to choose from, but the prat was chosen, so...........yes, I agree with you that the standard of education just isn't what it used to be in this not so glorious country anymore !!!!
However, the English are not an argumentative bunch in general, infact we happen to be very tolerant of others, and keep our opinions to ourselves ( except of course on YA where everyone just goes to town) . There is football hooliganism yes, but other nations have this problem too ( I think you'll find) so to generalise is a bit unfair ! We're not all the same .
To be honest with you my dear, this is the wrong place to ask this question, as there won't be many uneducated English people on here to answer your question, they will be out somewhere having an argument and beating someone up !!!!!!
There's good and bad in every country, where are you from? I'm sure if you told me, I would find some cons about your country .

As some of the other answers have stated either you are going for the double negative, which would be strange as the question begs me to believe that you are educated, or you are a stranger to the English language. If the latter then you need some more lessons other wise you are correct and we care about anything except football which is an overrated game, especially the F.A. leagues, where a bunch of over paid Nancy boys prance around a pitch. However Rugby now there is a real game and no armor.

As you say in your double negative, we care about something. Actually most of us care about many things; this is why we argue. People argue/debate about those things which they care about. Football is fun, it's popular all round the world; hence the World Cup.
As for uneducated; I'm fed up with people being so keen on education that the evening classes of my choice are always full.
You need to get out more; take a basic literacy class and go to a match.

We don't, it's just that none of us like you, I think you'll find that you are in fact yourself, uneducated, making a racist stereotypical remark, and probably feel inferior compared to the English.
And as for the sport side, I don't care much for football, though I am a former pro-kickboxer, so if you'd like to debate this further, feel free to open your size 14 mouth again so I can insert my size 14 boot into it.

Sorry to butt in here but I think your question has a large number of fundamental flaws.
Firstly there are plenty of educated people who have an obsession with football.
Similarly there are plenty of educated people who like an argument.
Your question in itself gives me the impression that there is a particular individual or small group of specific people with whom you currently have a problem.
There's no possible way to resolve your question as your supposition is innacurate.
Many of the worlds worst aspects come from sweeping generalisations such as this one.

Jesus. You call us un-educated, you illiterate ba***rd. If we didn't care about nothing, it means we care about something. Ever heard of the double negative. Go back to school.

Your generalisation borders on insulting. Your grasp of English tends to make you sound uneducated.

I am English, and i absolutely love having a good debate, and for stupid people the reason why they don,t like debating is because they are dumb and uneducated, what more can i say.

If you saw the ManU - Arsenal match last night, you would know there is nothing so important as football.
