Medicine will treat the symptom (nerves) but will not heal the problem! Grab a pencil and paper .. here goes,
Column One:
Identify the problem. Is it school? Family? Money? The future? A combination of all the above?
Column Two:
List possible solutions. If it is school, how can you help fix the problem? Tutoring? Counselor? If it is family, arrange a pow wow to talk things out. Money? A counselor could help here, too. I could also send a list of agencies that would assist.
Identifying the problem and listing possible solutions will .. all by itself .. help alleviate some of the stress. Seeing them in black and white takes some of the fear and worry out of it and puts them in perspective.
Now, there are health reasons to consider. Caffeine is a major culprit .. trade any soda and coffee for water or herbal tea. Some foods and food additives will cause such reactions (http://www.cookingforengineers.com/). Perhaps a chemical or food allergy is to blame. Try MedLine for more information on this. Your doctor is really your best ally in this; state all these symptoms, when they started and what changed in your life just before this happened.
Now...to relax ... take some time for yourself each day.. maybe 20 minutes. YES, you can. This will be quiet time. No phones. Music will help IF it is the right kind. I recommend Liquid Mind, Llewellyn, Merlin's Magic, The Guo Brothers, Steve Halpern .. all write music designed to slow the body and mind .. music designed to HEAL.
Other points:
1. Your bed should be used for sleeping, not reading or watching television. No phone calls. No bright lights; blue lighting is good (not black lights, which are another wavelength). The temperature should be kept relatively cool, and the bedsheets clean (more comfortable that way). If you wake up, GET up for a while. Go watch TV, put on some of that healing music .. if you just lay there, the Sandman's evil twin, Worrywart, will sneak in.
2. Take a cue from the Las Vegas commercials .. what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right? Try: what happens at work, stays at work. What happens at school, stays at school. What happens today will not be dragged into tomorrow. What happened in my past will NOT be dragged into my Today.
Try to avoid medications. Each carries a risk of its own. I will send you some of the recommended music if you like.
And before you stress about anything , ask yourself how much it will mean to you in a year .. or five years down the road. Keep the stressors in perspective and they will not get the best of you!

You might benefit from a low dose of an anti-anxiety medication. If you have to try to control your nerves, then they are already out of control. Talk to your doctor. There are several things on the market but you and your doctor have to decide what's best for your lifestyle. Me, I take Wellbutrin for my anxiety. My nerves were really bad and it helped a lot.

I first would say, see a Dr. He has the best advice.
If you can't see a Dr, or nothing, the first is to practice relaxing exercises. Soothing music... .things like that...
My Dr. personally told me to lay with a heating pad on my tense muscles, and also to use a massager.
