I could not in my right mind vote for either one.
Obama while an excellent orator has little experience and too left for my taste.
Clinton- Very dangerous at this juncture, has a lot of experience at all levels but I the country will not carry her in.
McCain.

I like them both very much, and the contest between them is going to be immensely interesting. Both of this individuals are very well spoken and dedicated public servants. I would vote for either one that wins the nomination.
However, both have draw backs. Barrack Obama has served in politics and elected positions in his state, and he is an outstanding public speaker by anyones standard, he starts out this campaign as a recognized player in national politics, and Mr. Obama is also the most capable speaker the Democrats have had since the 1960's and the deaths of the great Kennedy's, Bobby and Jack.
Obama's negatives are his lack of Federal Government experience and the fact that he is a Black American in a changing but not changed American over racial attitudes.
Hillery Clinton has been a target of the Rightwing of the Republican Party for over 16 years. They have been running against Hillary for all this time because they are so afraid of her common sense approach to governing.
Her negatives are high because she is still powerful and capable after all these years of propaganda, investigation and smear tactics used by the likes Hove and Atwater before him, the dirty tricksters of the Republicans.
After four years of Tom Delays, Folly's, Hasserts and Abramhoff, money politics of the K Street Gang, and criminal misuse of the power of their majority status in the Congress, Conservatives deserve to live with eight years of Hillary's Presidential Leadership.

Although Barack Obama doesn't have much experience I'd vote for him over Hillary. But I'm going to wait and see what his position is on the hot button issues. But I'd love to see him as president, he is so charismatic, down to earth, intelligent, and not to mention very handsome! He comes off as this very likeable guy who you would trust to run this country the right way unlike our current president.

Barack. I like him so far. Wish he'd step up and take some more prominent, active stances on issues though.
I'm don't like Clinton's stance on the war or her military philosophy either, which seems to be closer to the right. Plus, I don't think she can win the nation because people either strongly love or hate her. There's not enough voters in the middle that she can pick up.

I would like to qualify my statement by telling the public that I was raised by a single mother in an affluent white neighborhood (Orange County, CA). Our specific area was not so affluent, but still predominantly white.
Obama, definitely.

I think Barack Obama truly earned the position he is in and is a very captivating, intelligent and knowledgeable person.
If I had to pick between the two it would be Obama.

Barack Obama. Why? Because Hilary Clinton is a "show pony" and you need a "work horse' in the White House. She was elected for who She used to be rather than for Her ability to become someone great. I would want someone who knows what it means to have to fight for Your rights and the respect of others rather than one of the "lucky few".
Here is a thought for You. If Hilary was President, who would be First Lady?
(Who would You vote for?)
