Why do men think they understand women?

Women who know who and what they are know they don't understand men and that it is a fine art of negotiation to come to the same deffinitions . And that is part of the fun of getting to know who your partner really is.
Woman who are trying to manipulate or feel sorry for someone will say they understand.
some men do tend to repeat their patterns of behavoiur so that they can be predicted, some women confuse their awareness of this behaviour as a clinical understanding of the animal in question with understanding the inner man.
If you let a real woman know who you really are and she respects that she will come to know, then trust, then understand you. But she needs to know, trust and understand herself first.

We don't understand men. Who gave you that idea?
We DO however understand men better than they understand us but you guys are still pretty much a mystery to us.

Cause by nature women are more complex in showing what they want and how they feel where we as men are more to the point and direct about it. So women believe that they understand us where when we express ourselves as well as we do, who doesnt?

Cause they all have what they believe is a maternal instinct, which translates into some "women's intuition" which turns out to be a really good or bad "guess" most of the time. Leave them to thinking they have it, cause it makes them feel good about themselves, just like we feel about having control over situations. LOL

Because its usually pretty simple to decipher what they want.
It usually resolves around sex.

Why do you play sports in highschool?
- To date cheerleaders. And get laid.
- Also to get a college schollarship
Why do you go to college?
- To get a good job.
Why do you have a job?
- To have money.
Why do you need money?
- To buy a fancy car, nice clothes, etc
Why do you need a fancy car and nice clothes?
- To impress girls.
Why do you need to impress girls?
- To get laid.
The only thing that is asside from this is sports.
Sports makes you feel masculine.
Feeling masculine makes your testosterone rise.
Testosterone ups the desire for sex.
See?? REALLY is easy to figure out. ;-)
