schema is basically " overall design of a data base".in data base there are three types of schema 1. internal schema (lowest level) it is the place where the data is physically stored e.g yahoo servers.
2. conceptual schema (middel level) it is basically defines the structure and how data is stored or retrived by simple figures of you can say flow charts.
3. external or sub schema (highest level) it is where the user having no knowledge of programming sits and fills the data like the form we fill to resister in yahoo services.
