I would definitely choose the condo. You have an extra bedroom and lots more sq ft.The house has a a backyard but it can't be very big so kind of pointless. Good luck.

Condo as long as it's a high-rise. Acually HOA fees of $200/month aren't bad. High-rises here are running at $1000/month for an 1800 sq ft 2 bedroom.

the first one.

i would pick it because you can always add on to the building. you could build a garage onto it and solve the parking problem. or you can an extra room. also it is nice to have a backyard. also with a house you can have pets where as in a condo you can not. with the first one you have endless possibilities of what to do with that space where as in the condo you are very limited to what you can do.

The first one. You have a backyard that could be used to build another room on later. Or put in a pool yourself. I hated living in condos and never will again.

i'm assuming that the two properties are contained in the comparable college district (because of the fact if I had teenagers that could be my 1st attention in picking a house) and the comparable community so crime, community standards, house proprietor's affiliation, tax expenditures, etc. might all be the comparable. if it is the case, what concerning to the modern landscaping and fencing? Does one abode outshine the different with connection with those issues, besides as different "scale down charm" info? in the event that they are nevertheless neck and neck, take an excellent examine out the nook abode--ensure you have privateness. some nook lot properties I even have seen in essence lose their outdoor. they have 2 section yards. the place might you BBQ, positioned a pool, cover your junk, etc. and is there adequate privateness fence or hedgerow to grant you the sensation of a outdoor? additionally, examine out the streets and how the driveways lower back into the line. you ought to attempt finding out the community throughout commuter time (morning until eventually now artwork or afternoon throughout college bus runs & after artwork). Which driveway may be tougher to get out of? seek for any blind spots or difficult areas. examine out the properties around the two properties and notice in case you will get any clues approximately what the pals may be like. remember Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched? (Nosy neighbor) you do no longer prefer to stay next to her in case you are able to help it. seek for loud canines or teenagers, the Joneses that could be annoying to maintain up with (suitable backyard, etc.), or the rest that could malicious program you. on the different hand, in case you meet any of the pals and picture they may be particularly large next-door pals, that is a plus! Did the comparable builder build the properties? Are there any obtrusive adjustments contained in the standard of any furniture or furniture? Do the interior hues artwork for you or might you ought to do lots of reworking/adorning. those are the comparisons i might make in attempting to return to a determination between them. nook lots are meant to be proper, yet maximum of them that I even have seen lack privateness as I defined and tend to be larger site visitors in basic terms considering you have the go-highway.
