the sugar sand beaches of Panama City Beach, Destin, and Ft Lauderdale Florida. I highly recommend the St. James State Park with a rocked-in very large beach and swimming area. No worry of undertow.
These are Gulf of Mexico Beaches. The Atlantic side has brown beaches.

the Gulf Coast area from Destin, Florida to Gulf Shores , Alabama have white sand beaches. many hotels, resorts there, common location for honeymoons. This is about a 100 mile stretch of beach to choose from. you will definitely need sunglasses, the white sand and sunshine will "snow blind" you.

Hapuna Beach on the Big Island Hawaii. However, it is a very popular beach, so one has to get there early because of limited parking. The sunsets are spectacular!
