ok how do u open a temporary file from my jump drive onto microsoft word? im desperate. plz and thank you.

i tried opening it with word, internet explorer, and notepad. any other ideas? and how come i cannot safely remove my jump drive? is it because of my temporary file?

Was the file created in Word?
Right-click on the icon for the file and select Properties. It should tell you what kind of file it is.
Can you copy it and paste it to your desktop and try to open it there?

Right click on file, open with Note Pad.

Ignore that and go to add new hardware, tell it what you are doing and then point the hardware file location to that file. After it installs delete it and you are done.
