What Dreams May Come. It was so sad because the whole family eventually dies and Robin Williams fights his way to hell to save his wife and just because it deals with death makes it said for me because I think of all the loved ones who have passed in my life.

The movie Elizabethtown, with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. It's the best, most saddest movies I've ever seen!! There's a part in the movie when I cry so hard, I can't breath and no more tears can come down. It' so sad! Another sad movie is The Notebook!! I cried from the beginning of the movie, all the way to the end of it. The first time I saw it, I only watched half of it because I was crying so hard I couldn't watch it anymore. It took me a while before I could watch it all the way threw again.

The saddest movie I ever saw was the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet during a high school English class. We had read the play as part of an English class, but what happened for me didn't really sink in until I saw the film. Just watching all the pain - physical and emotional - and all the death in that film made it a very sad film. The scenes in the Capulet tomb were especially sad.

When I was much younger, I saw Deep Impact and that was a very sad movie since it was crazy. Perhaps the saddest movie I saw was Black Hawk Down because of the camaraderie and the letter the father reads to his wife regarding his children.

You want sad??
Go for a Korean drama.
Lover's Concerto: search it and read a plot summary. Or watch it in parts on youtube by searching "lover's concerto". Its amazingly sad, but confusing the first time because, like Forrest Gump, it's first flashbacks, then present time.
Also, A Moment To Remember [Literally, the title translates to "Eraser In My Mind]: It's about a 20-year old girl who gets married and has a fairytale life, but is stricken with alzheimers at a young age. It's rediculously sad.
Forrest Gump: The last line when he's at Jenny's grave is, in my opinion, one of the greatest lines in film ever: "If you ever need anything, I won't be far away."

The Color of Purple..the part when the sister was forced to leave and she said nothing but death can keep me from you...i just cried my eyes out like a little baby. Also Titanic was sad when the mom was reading to her kids or the old man kissed his wife goodbye. How to Make An American Quilt was sad because the stories told by these women who sat around making a quilt..oh my what they had been through and their struggles..you wondered and you understood at the same time

Life as a House.
To this day, Hayden Christensen's role as the troubled son was his best performance as an actor. A great drama, really sad.
The only movie that's possibly sadder is actually an animated film- Grave of the Fireflies...

Its a little embarrassing but.
Life is beautiful, I saw it on a plane and had to pull the blanket over my head because I was crying so hard at the part where the father is being led off by the German soldier but he is still goofing around to keep his son happy.
Joy Luck Club, the part where the Mom had to abandon her children next to the road.
Schindler's list, if you don't cry when Oscar is looking at his gold pin and realized it could have saved one more life then your not human.
