United Nations could use its powers to act equally to all the countries in this world. Why it is becoming simply becoming a silent spectator for whatever the United States do in the name of war of terror? Why it remains simply a onlooker when millions of innocent civilians are killed in afghanistan, israel, lebonan, iraq by americans in the name of WMD, Terror, islamic fascism, nuclear energy? I thinks Mr. Ben Ki Moon should use his powers wisely during 2007 to stop america for wars, stop innocent killings, give a wise importance to what is the actual cause of terrorism, look to improve the third world which is underdeveloped.

2. There are no Americans in Israel or Lebanon killing anyone.

THe UN is only as strong as it members. The security council pretty much rules it(US UK Russia France China + 10 non permanent members) I don't think there are any middle eastern nations in the council. Un agrees with americas war of terror. UN is always trying to help third world countries but it usually doesn't make the news
