my friend has a picture of charles manson with his signature below it dated back to 1986 and wanted to know if it might be worth something and how do we go about finding out?

Mmmmm honest I would not pay anything for it. I have Charles Manson socks signed which I got from him for 5 bucks a letter from Richard Ramirez and One of the suits that belonged to John Wayne Gacy (POGO) honest I dont believe they are worth anything.

Less than 20 dollars I would expect, depending on the content and uniqueness of the photo and whether or not he wrote anything other than his signature. Google 'autograph collecting' and email a few of those, see what they say.

If you post a full description of the photo and what Manson wrote I can take a closer guess.

A photo signed depending on size should net ya $50-100 right now... Check out http://www.Write-A-Murderer.com for more info on Manson autographs and collectibles. As well as murder auctions if you plan on selling it as ebay will remove the listing.
