depends on how long the period is...day 1 of period is day 1 of cycle...if period is 7 days, then 3 or 4 days after is day 10....you are fertile from about day 10 to day 18? something like that. i wouldn't be having unsafe sex if you don't want to get pregnant at any time!

There is always a chance of pregnancy with unprotected sex but 3-4 days after the period ends is a low fertility time. 7-10 day after the end of the period is a very high fertility time when the chances are highest that conception will take place.
However, because no woman's cycle is ever 100% accurate, to be certain that pregnancy doesn't take place protection should be used everytime you have sex.

Most women ovulate (the time they can get pregnant, usually 2-3 days) two weeks after their period. BUT!!!!!! There's always the chance a woman may be irregular or the sperm could stay alive long enough until the egg is released.

There is a chance. You never know when a girl is going to ovulate. Some ovulate twice a month.
Unsafe sex is never "safe".
You had better wear protection all the time. Better safe than pregnant.

Its not a likely possibility... because women ovulate 14 days before their next period. You ovulate when you get pregnant!

Any time is a bad time if you want to prevent pregnancy. You can knock her up having unprotected sex while she's raggin'. Just because aunt flo is gone you can still get a bun in the oven.

you can get pregnant anytime... doesnt matter if shes on her period, theres a woman my mother knows and she had all four of her kids while on her period... thats why theres no garuntees on condoms... or itd say 100% affective while on period... but it dont, you shouldnt have unpretected sex if you arent ready for what MIGHT happen
