Excuse me for being depressed but life right now for me is very depressing. My question is how come love stinks? Been divorced for six months and the only one that has seen any action is my cheating ex wife. I have met women who are very different than my ex wife and it's hard for me to start over. Any suggestions??

Well, love stinks because people get comfortable and forget that the person they "love" has feelings too. It is hard to be in love with someone when they are selfish and self-fulfilling. I am sorry your wife cheated on you. I met you once in JFK airport and you were very sweet. I know form the five minutes we spoke that you dont deserve that - no one does. Just take it one step at a time and try to look for a nice woman who genuinely cares for you.

I suggest taking chances, making risks, starting over doesn't have to be a scary thing. It is only scary because you make it that way. It is the fear of changing. It is not you who has to change, it is the direction you look in that has to change. It has been six months, maybe you are wishing for something that isn't where you are. You have to get past all this, and then things will change. Don't worry about the small things in life.

Love stinks because you have not met ther right person or partner to be with and who really loves you yet.... real love is no tlike this just to let you know... You may need to see a doctor for your depression... You may also need counseling and help to start to move on with your life.... Why would you be looking for someone who's like your ex wife? She's your ex for a reason. Just because she's different doesn't mean you can't give her a chance. And don't say love sucks, because did you think that when you were with your ex wife? Don't blame love.

Try not to think of what she's doing, and anything you do, try not to associate it to her. Instead, find someone sweet and understanding (even a friend) and whatever you do, associate it to the new you, to your old friends or to a new relationship. Whenever you do something, association is usually the reason you get sad.
But don't worry about it, happens to a lot of people, and you'll get over it. Just move on.

females have a commodity that's in demand. we males don't. even a female, if horny, can get a banana. so relax and kick back with some buddy's at a bar and grill or pub. if you gotta have tail, pay for it. its one thing the broads can't and won't do, that is, pay for it. otherwise, take it easy and take it a day at a time and see what transpires and for Pete's sake, don't spy on your ex, drop her like a led balloon and let her go into the sunset. don't worry with her or her future, instead, worry about yours.
