What a GREAT question....I have a few favorites.....
Big Bopper....White Lightning
Eddie Cochran......Summertime Blues.....
Elvis......pick any from pre-60'
but..my favorite.....Buddy Holly and the Crickets...Peggy Sue.....
It had that driving Rockabilly sound....but also more of a blues feel....it was also the song that most influenced the British bands that became the invasion.
Other greats.....Bill haley and the Comets......Rock Around the Clock
Bobby Fuller.....I Fought The Law

Oh my goodness, you sure have stirred it up on this one Sunshine. I made the classic mistake of reading down the earlier answers and now I am totally confused:
However, on top I have to put Elvis with Teddy Bear - an all time favourite. Quickly followed by:
