I know exactly how you feel. I was EXACTLY the same way. And everyone kept telling me to move on. But they just didn't understand,it had been like 5 mon. and finally I was like okay, I'm over him. But like 3 mon. after that, I started having feelings for him and I didn't want to. At first I almost started liking him, but I snapped out of it and moved on. You will too, don't worry girl! It's all natural.

There is no clear cut plan on how to "get over" a relationship. It is an emotional roller-coaster. This has always worked for me....know that you deserve only the best! You have to come to terms with the reasons why you are no longer together.... cheating, lying, abuse, etc. You miss the sense of normalcy that you had while together. Accept the change and make the most of it, keep active with your friends and family. Change up your daily routines that you shared together. do not allow yourself to dwell on the past, think for the future! Good luck, I hope you feel stronger soon.

getting drunk didn't solve a thing for me but at least it was an excuse to get drunk and you sound like your younger then that so I would just have too say....
no idea..... other then sometimes we never forget, to often we only remember the good and not the bad, focus on how big of an *** he was and pain the the buttinskee etc..., I am sure he did somethings that pissed you off and they would have gotten worse over time.. possible he would be beating the *hit out of you right now.. yea.. that's the ticket.. he would be tossing you around like some rag doll, stomping your face etc... and you got out of that relationship just in the nick of time...
whew... lucky you...., no go out with someone and have fun...

I had the same problem and I just looked at my life with him and then I looked at my life without him. I realized that without him I have more time for my friends and family which is great, but with him I felt special. That was a year and 2 guys ago, but I still think of him. Moving on is going to take ALOT of time and patience, but it will come one day. Good Luck!

Sorry for your loss...keep the faith and try your best to occupy your life with action and soon the hole will fill up and you will have your life again. I never said it would be easy. As you well know. Just take the emphasis off of the loss long enough to live.

Occupy the time you would have spent on him with a personal interest, like music, sports, etc.

Ask yourself what you are you really wishing for? If the relationship was so good why did you break up? Also ask yourself what is it that you really miss.
