Not really. I think a watch is better when I pick it out. Besides, it all depends on who you are giving it to. For example a first date that happens to be Valentine's Day is kind of forward and, well, strange. If you both have been together for some time, then sure!

Good luck and Happy Valentine's Day!

I honestly think that every woman is different. Roses die. A watch is a standing gift of timeless love or friendship. Both would be nice but most women like jewelry in any form. It shows a sign of respect and value that you place on the relationship between the two of you. Good Luck. I hope this will help.

I am a man. I do not own a watch. I would like a watch. Watches tell the time of the day. Watches are worth watching. Roses are worth smelling. If I had a watch to watch and a rose to smell I would be content. I have spoken. Peace out.

A watch & a rose is better the chocolate or an iron. It shows that you gave it some thought.

It depends, do I need a watch or have I dropped hints that I want a watch? Do I like roses?

Yes I would! That would be lovely. Since you are being sweet and going all out by buying a watch, then you should throw in some chocolates as well!

Sure...but not some cheesy watch. Get a good name brand. And pay attention to whether your lady wears gold or silver and make sure the watch matches her other jewelry.
