First of all, SAME would not be a pronoun used in any of these positions.
1. He is often late for school. THIS makes his teacher very angry.

2. (You didn't list IT , but I think you need it here.) I don't like coffee, IT contains a lot of caffeine and THAT is too sweet.
(?!! The statement doesn't really make sense, as caffeine isn't sweet!)

3. He is a competant manager, and he has always been regarded as SUCH by his colleagues.

I wouldn't use demonstrative pronouns in these sentences.
1) it
2) it...it
3) such...not a pronoun...adjective.
