Manning is the best QB currently playing the game right now. I would not say that he is the best ever as there are some pretty impressive names at the top like Montana, Marino, Elway, Farve, etc. Give him a few more years, and maybe the ring, and he may be the best ever to play.

a true field general, it is safe to say that peyton is easily the best in the league right now. no doubt hes a future hall of famer, with all the numbers he's put up over the years. i'd wait till he speaks of retirement before i start comparing him to the greats though.

I wouldn't guarantee he'll get a ring. There's still this little thing between him and that trophy called the Monsters of the Midway.
He's not the best QB ever, but he will hold most of the records by the time he retires. I'd rate Montana and Marino as better.

Manning is the best right now and one of the top 10 of all time for stats. Maybe now he can add another award - a Super Bowl title.
