Well, you can't have both. If that is going to be the system, socialism there has to completely go away because the contradict each other. It is always harder for the oldest generations. So the government could tell the people that they are going to test it for 5 years, and if the people don't like it, they can vote socialism back in.

The trend is to move from socialism to capitalism in the long term. An example of this would be China. This socialist state is now entering a state of capitalism

China, for one, sure seems to be stretching their ideological, socialist principles in the pursuit of the capitalist buck nowadays

capitalism is the only workable system for distributing commodities in a system that enforces personal property. socialism is for sharing resources (roads, intellectual "property", perhaps health care)
