Terrorists are criminals and we should treat them and prosecute them like criminals. On the other hand, the right wing of America just needs a cause to be war like.

Terrorists are absolutely no different then gangs of thugs running around in the streets of your city. The best way to describe them is by comparing them to cancer cells in the human body. They are a cancer on the world. If we could destroy them surgically that would be great. Unfortunately, like a lot of cancer treatments, there are some bad side effects.
Terrorism has never accomplished anything. The sick cowards that indulge in it and support it need to be removed. The real problem is the politics involved. When ALL the nations of the world agree it needs to be stopped and help do something about it, the world will be a better place. Unfortunately, too many people benefit from its existence. We may not be doing the best job of eliminating it so far, but that's all we have.

International terrorism can be defeated by International participation. We cannot fight terrorism if individually we think and act as if it is not our problem, and we are not obligated to take action.
Individuals, acting in conjunction with the military forces, need to become part of the solution. Agreed, there will be many people killed but, there will also be many terrorists killed, and the people outnumber the terrorists in most areas.
If the people of Iraq inform the military forces where terrorists are hiding, in a matter of a few days those terrorist forces will be no more.
When terrorists enter the picture, EVERYONE has to pick up arms or at least become part of the ant-terrorist force.

Terrorism can not be defeated through warfare.
Education is the best process it is also the slowest process. Separation of church and state--- if people can agree to disagree then disagreements are not taken personally and people are not killed in the name of god.
the only thing war does us speed up the accepted form of ideology that government will take up.and usually the only countermeasure is terrorism,
I do believe that any country that has a strong educational system, a principle belief of the separation pf church and state, and have the ability to protect it self is better equip to stave off terrorism.
and in conclusion most (hmm the right word) dynasties
begin with some sort of terrorism.
the United States was founded on terrorism)
the Boston tea party was a terrorist act ect.

While some terrorists are fanatical criminals, I believe that most terrorists are born from complete despair and hopelessness. In this case, they have nothing to loose, and life (theirs and that of others) is cheap and meaningless. In joining terrorists groups, they find a place to belong that give them an illusion of power, a meaning to their otherwise hopeless life, and a "cause."
Until we acknowledge the deep cause of terrorism, give people who are different respect and the right to be different (in terms of religion, politics, way of life), we will never extinguish the hunger that drive people to join terrorist groups.
Warfare only reinforce their view of fighting against "evil" and for a "cause."

Why warfare? Is diplomacy not an option? Love thy neighbor as thyself. If the terrorist was your neighbor would this apply and would this love stop his terror? All I am doing here is asking questions, just as you are.Let us think Scientifically and use the law of: take a force of equal force to stop the force of Terrorism.

Yes, We could feed them when we say were going to, educate them when we say were going to. we could stop making promises we dont keep. or how about respect being a birth right and not somthing you have to earn. but what do i know i guess its harder to love them then to just kill them.
