I am 14 and entering my first beauty pagent. I am looking for a dress and want one that will show off my hourglass figure. I'm about 5'6 and am at an average weight. My bust is 36 inches, my waist is 27 inches and my hips are 37 inches. Should I go with a halter, strapless, a-line, etc?

Most halters are stunning on hourglass figures. Actually, think of last year's Miss America pageant. They always wore halters!

Strapless or halter. You are proportionate enough to look stunning in a strapless. If your shoulders are wide or if your upper arms have thickness you may want to skip the halter...it can make some appear like football players.

Halter. They make your hips look slimmer and they make your face look even more symetrical - which is what the human mind subconciously looks for when judging beauty. Plus theyre fun to wear :)
