Ultimate Encyclopedia of Mythology by Arthur Cotterell and Rachel Storm.

This book covers mythology from the Celts, Rome, Greece, Scandinavia and the Germanic peoples, the Middle East, Near East, and Far East.

As far as websites, try googling the word "mythology." Google "celtic mythology," "hindu mythology," etc.

Try reading Edith Hamiliton's "Mythology". Also try reading the works of Homer or Ovid. These cover Greek mythology. Also, try googling "mythology". I think you'll find what you're looking for.

Ya ya, the usual. Also don't forget that every culture has its own myths. So it depends on what you're looking for. I KNOW. I'm not really any help. Just thought I would throw that FACT out there though.
