Just tell your friend that from now on you will lie to him whenever you think the truth will hurt his feelings. Then tell him there really is a God.

I know you meant what you said but I believe God CAN always help just sometimes He feels it is better to let the person take care of themselves in certain situations so that the person will learn something. Anyway how can you make ammends, if your friend is a true friend and a good christian they won't stay mad at you for long, just explain you weren't putting God down or them down just stating your feelings and being a friend you felt comfortable enough to do so and didn't mean to bother them or make them mad.

Talk to them calmly and although I disagree with you because I think that God can always help (He just helps in ways that we do not understand), I respect your opinion and if you have a heart to heart with your friend explain to them your viewpoint and at the same time accept the fact that theirs may not be the same as yours. That is what makes life interesting. If we were all exactly the same and thought the same thing and dressed the same way and liked the same things what a boring place this would be. Just be thankful that you are in a country that you are free to express your opinions openly.

well god does help but MAYBE you dont see it cause you want to many strings attached. God has everything timed and planned.

if you believe in that then fine, if the other person cant handle what you believe then oh well.

I think you meant to say that God can help but he doesn't always choose to help. We should keep praying and trust him for the answer, whether it be yes or no.

It's their problem, not yours..... you can't change their point of view any more than they can yours...

Funny how people like that forget the saying "God helps those who help themselves"

Talk about music or football or girls or boys. As you age, you will find that politics and religion can easily destroy a friendship.
