"Lovers and Friends" I'm in the same situation, but we want a relationship just not right now. You have your friend there but no strings with the whole boyfriend thing. You have your "lover" if you need someone to hold you, make love to you or whatever you need. It's not right if you have a boyfriend or have more than one at the same time. Something could happen...could blossom into something nice!:)

you have someone who you have no obligation to, to kiss on and "love" on. A FWB is someone you can hook up with, get all the benifits of a a boy/girlfriend and you don't have to deal with buying gifts arguing about realtionship stuff, until you find someone you really want to have a real relationship with. He or she is like a in between until you find real.

Absolutely none! It might be great at first when you don't have any feelings for them & you think you never will. You may never...or you may fall in love with them and then you'll only get hurt. Don't do it! It's not worth it!

FWB has the potential to be great. just casual sex, no commitment. it's when you start to want that committment with that particular friend that it starts getting "sticky". or if that friend has a live in gf. that tends to get complicated too.

You get to hook up without worrying about anything pretty much when ever you want...basically sexual satisfaction.
