He has one side of his scrotum (left side) enlarged and he says that it is because of him not releasing sperm (sperm retained), He is not sexually active. is this tru? He says that his stomach feels funny when the scrotum is handled. What causes this, is this common?

These are some of the symptoms of testicular cancer. Especially since it's only one testicle and there is lower stomach area pain. He really needs to be seen.
Please google symptoms of testicular cancer and see what I mean. I hope I am wrong, but if not, you could help save his life.

he could have had trauma to his genitals, the pain in his stomach is the lymphnodes. this is definatly a problem and he needs to get it checked out immediatly

Sounds like Orchitis - he should see a doctor.
