I have several bamboo plants in a planter filled with stones and water. One of them is starting to turn yellow and rot.

If the leaves turn yellow, cut those off or it will affect the rest of the plant. Then take out the bamboo arrangement out of the container and rinse the rocks, the container, and the roots of the bamboo and put everything back together, then add fresh water with a few drops of Green Green plant food. If the stems turn yellow, it is too late for that stalk.

Pull out the rotter- he's dead. You can try giving it a little sun ( not much, but they do need some), and maybe a very small amount of fertilizer. We have a bamboo someone threw out because it wilted; we resurrected it that way, and now it's thriving .

Pull it out, then try drying out the stones a little, sounds like there might be a little too much water.
