It looks that way. I sure hope they're making the right choice. They had two talented assistants in Whisenhunt and Grimm, so choosing an outsider is a strange risk. But the Steelers are a solid organization and I trust that they know what they are doing.

As of Sunday, 6:30pm Eastern Time Zone, Mike Tomlin was named the New Steeler's Coach for a Contract for 4-years for $10 Million Dollars with a 5th year Option.....

It looks like it i saw it on sports center but the Steelers didn't update their website to say he did but id be expecting to see him on the sideline in august.
