From what I remember, his contract is officially up in Feb., but they didn't schedule any more matches for him after his last appearance. His name didn't pop up in all of the contract releases made by WWE this past week, so likely they are just going to let his contract run out. Show could of course re-sign, but it doesn't look like he will since there's been no news from his side of things.

Yes he is. He is just letting alot of nagging injuries heal thats all just taking time off he will be back i guess whenever he feel like he wants to come back. I agree with that think about the last 3 months before he disappeared he had alot of physical matches and to all those that say "oh wrestlings fake" gee no sh*t sherlock. but when your big shows size falling or getting knocked into the railing around the ring being that big thats a long way to fall and i bet that sh*t hurts you people try that and tell me if its fake

His contract expired right after December To Dismember, so he didn't renew it and took time off to heal himself (and no he isn't pulling a Kurt Angle and jumping to TNA) he actually is taking time off and needs to heal himself. A man of his size strains his body more than most people of average size, and since he's been doing what he does for at least ten years, it's time he took time off to recover and heal himself. He said he's thinkin of doing acting in movies and he might have his own WWE films movie.

No, but he said he is still open for one match. He said he will still fight a match or two even though he's not under contract, that is if he doesnt sign with WWE again.
