I don't think any age is too late to turn things around, but 22 is certainly young enough to make major changes and even start all over. A good education, acquiring the right skills, and a spotless record from here on can overcome any bad start.

If you go to college and really apply yourself I think you will do just fine. There are probably some fields of study that will be closed to you- like teaching, I think. Talk to the school counselor about your situation. Also- maybe look into having your record expunged.
I strongly encourage you to get your education- you are still young enough to turn your life around but without an education or job skills it will be really tough.

A criminal does look extraordinarily undesirable on your resume, yet 22 is somewhat out of the cradle interior the eyes of maximum employers. With a criminal at eighteen, and no college, the those that could desire to offer you a sturdy job won't be very awareness. astounding job performances and gleaming revues from previous employers could desire to help, yet those could be demanding to come again by skill of. With a criminal at eighteen, and a college degree after that, the those that could desire to offer you a sturdy job are a lot greater possibly to work out which you are trying to alter for the greater powerful, and that they are going to be a lot greater possibly to furnish you the earnings of the doubt. in case you think of you're able to do it, then do it. Time is on your facet as long as you're prepared to objective.

Twenty-two is still VERY young. Why don't you call your local police station or clerk of the court and see if you can have that record expunged.
